Santa Claus has given us a present: we were able to acquire a new hardware sponsor! Maxtor kindly supports VEB FILM Leipzig with 3TB of external hard disks. 1000 GB for every editor, since three different versions of the film will be produced at the same time (which is the first time in film history as well).
By the way, our first movie "Route 66" was edited on external Maxtor firewire hard disks as well - that's why Maxtor was our first choice: good experiences.
Let me tell, I find it honourable that the guys from Maxtor are so down-to-earth supporting an Open Source Film Netlabel, this certainly is not common within companies that big!
