Again, this year, the re:publica was well worth the trip to Berlin. I met Peter of The Pirate Bay and found out, that he was a member of a cracking group, that cracked a C64 game, that I developed in the 90s =o) Or lets call it an intro-link, since there was no copy protection to remove.
An editor from a german public broadcaster was attending my lecture and did a quick interview afterwards. For another TV channel we made a fast motion recording with me standing in front of a subway entrance for a piece on filesharing. Lets see how it turns out.
My panel discussion on Creative Commons was fun, too. So I guess I'll be there next year again.

Comments Kleiner Nachtrag zur Sat.1-Sendung: soeben brachte die Post ein Päckchen der Produktionsfirma, die mir freundlicherweise eine Kopie der Sendung schicken wollte. Ich öffne das Ding, wundere mich noch, dass es so klobig ist und was halte ich plötzlich in den Händen: eine VHS-Kassette! (Für die jüngeren Mitleser: damit hat man in den 80ern Fernsehsendungen aufgenommen) Wie lustig. Jetzt kann ich endlich mal meiner Oma zeigen, was ich den ganzen Tag mache :D Alle Anderen finden die Sendung sowieso schon seit 5 Minuten nach der Ausstrahlung im Netz.
