I'm back from a 3 weeks / 6669 km motorcycle trip to the heart of Russia; on the road with my wifes KTM supermoto, teaming up with the awesome saxonian Motorcycle Club Metern.
MC Metern was founded in 2007 by the orthodox monk Rom (with demo scene roots, coder until 93 - pre-assembler kind of guy!) and metalhead surgeon Matt, always ready to perform a live liver stich up in the Hinterland.
The Club was joined by driving instructor Uwe, who drove half the distance either on the field beside the road or on the back wheel of his LC8 Dakar.
Old german soldier Tom returned with us to Russia on his oldtimer BMW accompanied by our defense biker Chris - on a 500kg BMW packhorse.
We went out to get our bikes blessed by a motorcycling priest.
30 hours of finest saxonian humor, exclusive monastary insights and russian hospitality are now ready to arrive in post production for another VEB gonzo roadmovie!
